I Wasn’t at the Top of My Class. I Still Aimed for the Top.
I wasn’t the top student in my nursing class. But I refused to let my class standing decide what came next. In November 2023, I placed Top 1 in the NLE with a 91.00% rating.
I knew I needed to remember what I studied, not just finish reading my notes. I worked through over 8,000 nursing flashcards in Anki, returning to them through spaced repetition and testing myself with thousands of practice questions. Little by little, facts became knowledge I could recall.
